Glencoe Mill Rehabilitation

Another step forward

On Tuesday, we attended the Burlington City Council meeting and presented our rezoning application.  Our application is approved, and we’re looking forward to the permitting process.  We’ve been working with our neighbors out at Glencoe, and we hope to continue getting all the constructive feedback and suggestions as we progress.

Phase One of our development is coming together.  The Hydroelectric plant has been leased, and I’m working with the operator, William Myers, on a more detailed blog entry about the hydro plant.  If you are out there, you’ll probably see him working on repairing the Mill Race in the coming weeks and months.

We’ve also signed a lease on the Cotton Warehouse, and I promise I’ll do a more detailed entry on that soon!  Otis and Tim are busy laying the groundwork for more work to be done, and if we are given the green light, we’ll begin work in earnest after the holidays.
